More Marvel animation.

In 2009 the Nictoons Network is bringing both Shell Head and The Little Runt to the small screen for there own animated spin-off's to tie into and cross promote with there big screen brothers (which would have DVD releases around this time). I am of course talking Iron Man and Wolverine, if you hadn't got that already.

“Iron Man: The Animated Series” and “Wolverine and the X-Men” will join the network for 26 epiosdes each in early 2009.

“We’re trying to create synergy with the brand by having a continual awareness of different interpretations of the characters in the marketplace,” says Eric Rollman of Marvel Studios in some typically annoying PR speak that barely seems like English.

Most worryingly Iron Man will be shown as a younger, teenage Tony Stark. I have no Idea why they would do that, but it does not sound like a good idea to me. Wolverine would probably just be Wolverine, annoy as ever.

I'm glad to see a remake of old classics especially if its going to get kids more interested in ledgendary characters (ONLY if it means the kids watch the cartoons and the adults dont have to watch the fucking shit they call 12A which has ruined 15s). BUT they kinda need to keep some part of the originals not like the shitty remake of the Xmen cartoons as Xmen evolution which I HATED with passion. The animation was shit, the story lines were shit and the characters were shit. if they do that with these two remakes i hope they die on their asses. if they keep them more to the originals with good animation, good story lines and good characters then HELL YEAH!!
