It's all over...

The writers strike that is, at least some sources say it is.

After a very quiet news day and what looks to be a slow week, the awesome news is that it looks like the writers strike has finally come to a close.

Former Walt Disney CEO Michael Eisner has revealed on CNBC that it's done, it's over. Hooray!

"It's over," Eisner said. "They made the deal, they shook hands on the deal. It's going on Saturday to the writers in general."

While in theory the writers could still reject this on Saturday, Eisner seemed to think that was extremely unlikely.

"A deal has been made, and they'll be back to work very soon," Eisner said, he added, "I know a deal's been made. I know it's over."

He did not elaborate on the deal, but I and many many people are hoping that this means the writers finally got at least part of what they wanted. I am sure more details will emerge after the weekend.

Can it be true that the writers strike is finally coming to an end?
I know that they deserve a slice of the cake (or pie as I prefer)but FUCK...It's taken its time to be resolved! I hope the writers and production companies DO finally come up with an answer so we can get back to watching our favorite shows again...Albeit with a massive gap in the middle of some shows now. Thnx for the post guys, this is the first I heard of a resolution and I hope you're right :)
