Dork In Your Eye: Episode 16.5, The Mish Mash

This is a proper show, then again it's not.

It's a mish mash of a never before released Skype recording me and Marc did and a collection of random interviews Marc did at the Bristol Comic Con.

Some could say this is a 'special edition'.

As it's a short form special show there is no music or credits. But I wanted you all to have something this week, even if it's this mad stuff! Oh and no show notes, I am feeling even more lazy than usual.

Sorry to be a bastard Ben, but in one of the early episodes of Dork In Your Eye either you or marc slated the PS3 and I know you definately agree (followed up by the comment now we've lost our only fan - 'cos I belive monkey is a fan of the PS3?)

AND I just heard you say is there a better way to get a blu ray player?...well there is and it's cheaper than a PS3 AND when blu-ray is more popular it'll be very useful. It's a Blu-Ray DVD+/- all format RW made by LG for 169.99 pounds (link http://www.pcworld.co.uk/martprd/store/pcw_page.jsp?BV_SessionID=@@@@1001222436.1218505485@@@@&BV_EngineID=ccccadeelfhkfedcflgceggdhhmdfho.0&page=Product&fm=null&sm=null&tm=null&sku=069392&category_oid=). The biggest benefit is that the Blu-ray discs can hold upto (approximately) 25GB of info on them (apparently) so even if you're not burning HD quality movies you have a decent back up facility :)

The biggest problem with th PS3 that I've encountered is that it is so fucking awesome the games manurfacturers are finding it hard to keep up with the technology and therefore the best games for the PS3 will allegedly not be ready for about a year :( ...Bogus

I agree with the PS3 issue.

But I was talking about stand alone BR players. I really dont think having an internal drive option is the best. I dont know about you, but I would rather watch films on my HD widescreen TV than my PC monitor, even if it is 24''.
