Dork in Your Eye: Episode 7, Zombies!

It's Sunday, so it's show time!

This week something everyone here at the Climbing Shrimp team has strong feelings towards, Zombies.

Be it fear or fascination these fictional monsters often create feelings of an extreme nature. To me and Marc it's perhaps a grudging kind of respect.

Do we take out interest in Zombies perhaps a bit to far? Oh hell yeh, we pretty much love them and anything we can find them in.

For this show we cover a fair segment of modern Zombie culture (see the show notes for a more specific idea), but we don't come close to covering everything. Even as I write this I am thinking of more things we could have covered. We mostly focus on the modern stuff from the Zombie resurgence of late.

But I do hope you enjoy this show and please leave some comments about your favourite Zombie media! I imagine next week we will be back to a more regular show, or not...

---------------------------------------

Bellow is a link dump for more information on the main things (in the order they are talked about) we mention in the show (ed-Wiki is our friend)! So enjoy.

zombies are real :p http://www.abc.net.au/science/k2/moments/s1260445.htm
Even Arthur C Clarke hosted an "Arthur C Clarke's Mysterious World" episode to them
Loved the show again, the fun fic frollic was much more convincing than the first one, and marcs SFX screams were quality!
Lots of laughs again and keep them coming cos they're so fuckin awesome.
P.S. my girlfriend wants some Zombie survival tips cos she's been asking me for ages what I'd do in a global zombie infestation and I keep replying "as in every zombie dream I have I'd be tempted to fight them off to start with with knives, hard garden rakes etc until I got tired/overwhelmed and fled/eaten. But if I survived the fighting I'd keep on the move" and she keeps saying she'd wanna act a little quicker on the fleeing. But where would you go? you should blates either do a zombie survival blogcast or an uber post
