What cult classic film has wizards, pirates battling monsters, Giants, an epic battle of good love and revenge!No not Lord of the Rings. I'm talking about The Princess Bride! Yes that’s right after 21 years of agonising wait, we are finally getting toys from the hit movie. For those of you who haven’t seen this movie, where the hell have you been?! This is an amazing action comedy starring many now iconic actors and comedians like Mel Smith, Peter Cook, hell even Andre the Giant was involved in this film.
Any way back to the toys themselves, they are being made by NECA toys, again like Mcfarlane toys I have been a fan of this company, they have worked on classic franchises such as Ghost Busters, Resident Evil and the Evil Dead series. Their sculptures are amazingly well detailed, they look like the characters they are actually portraying be it actors or monsters. These figures are usual very durable so don’t be afraid to take them out of the boxes and have fun with putting them around the house.
The first figure from The Princess Bride is the "Dread Pirate Roberts" I cant say enough how excited I am by this figure and how accurate it looks. This is something I will own!
