James Bond

Normally I wouldn't even mention Bond, but this time I just had to.

The reason, the title of Bond 22. Quantum of Solace that's right, you read that correctly.

Surely, that has to one of the worst Bond and film titles I have ever seen.

If you actually drill into it a little you get the much clearer sounding A Degree of Comfort.

Why of why did they feel the need to hit a thesaurus and come up with the most misleadingly Sci-Fi, crap title ever?

I quite like it myself, but then I have to name a bunch of UNSC?Covenant ships for Skies Edge & they're all exactly like this...

PS: Just realised, " Quantum of Solace" is actually a title of a short story by Ian Fleming which involved Mr Bond. So I guess it wasn't just the film goons ;)

This is true, that don't stop making it sound silly though!

Hmm! Yet more plot-thickenery!

Turns out "Quantum of Solace" is originally a mathematical expression of love. Basically, if the quantum is 0, there is no love yadda yadda blah.

So there you go, the plot is said to carry on 1 hour after Casino Royale & have some small examination of Mr Bond's emotional state in dealing with the "betrayal" of his love. SO maybe its not such a silly name after all?

Sorry, it's still a silly name, whatever the reason!
